FAQ

How are you ensuring guest safety in the time of COVID-19?
Close/Hide

The safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. Each cabin, along with every communal space, is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with special attention paid to high-touch surfaces. You'll find hand sanitizer throughout the resort.

We offer in-cabin check-in to avoid line-ups at reception, as well as paperless receipts. The cabins are completely private and have their own dedicated parking spots. Not ready to venture out to restaurants just yet? Cozy up and stay in; each cabin has a full kitchen.

Wander sits on four acres, making it ideal for fresh air social distancing. Beach seating and umbrellas are set apart from one another, to offer safety when hanging out by the water.

Before you visit, please take a moment to review COVID-19 protocols for County visitors and residents.

Are the cabins accessible?
Close/Hide

Each cabin has one to three exterior steps. There are no stairs inside the cabins. If you have questions about accessing our cabins, please send us a note.

Can I pay to have an extra guest in my cabin?
Close/Hide

Nightly rates include up to five guests. Cabins can sleep a maximum of six people; an additional nightly fee applies for the sixth person (over the age of three).

Are day guests allowed?
Close/Hide

Day guests up to a certain number are permitted. Upon arrival, day guests must register at reception.

Can I bring my dog?
Close/Hide

As of December 2021, Wander is no longer allowing dogs. After our first few months of operation, we learned it was too challenging to uphold our standards and core values as a resort while allowing animals on site.

Can I cook in my cabin?
Close/Hide

Yes! All of our cabins have full kitchens, with full-sized Miele appliances (including a dishwasher). Each cabin also has a personal barbecue on a private terrace.

Is there a restaurant on site?
Close/Hide

Yes! The Wander Clubhouse offers full food and beverage service to guests, featuring seasonal light breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, as well as weekend brunch. The bar also serves delicious cocktails, wine, beer, cider, and craft soda, featuring many local County selections.

Do the beach and pool have a lifeguard?
Close/Hide

We do not have a lifeguard on site. Please monitor children at all times.

How close is your resort to Sandbanks Provincial Park, wineries, et cetera?
Close/Hide

Prince Edward County is a large region spanning many towns. Wander is well-positioned in the centre of it all. Please explore our County map to get an idea of where we are in relation to County landmarks.

Do you host weddings? What about other events?
Close/Hide

We do! Please visit the Private Events page for more information.
