As a Cabin Guest, do I have access to the Spa?

Yes! Cabin guests enjoy discounted spa access with our Robe-Ready Access program—making your wellness experience seamless and stress-free.

Here’s how it works:

  • Robe-Ready Access allows you to begin your spa experience right from your cabin—no need for lockers or changing rooms.
  • This access begins after 4:00 PM on your check-in day and is available on all full days of your stay (excluding check-out day).
  • Locker access is not guaranteed before check-in or after check-out, so we encourage you to plan your visit during your designated stay period.
  • Cabin guests can enjoy the spa by purchasing a Thermal Escape pass for just $75 plus tax per day—available in advance or at Guest Services.
  • Your robe and spa essentials will be waiting in your cabin so you can slip right into relaxation.
  • Though your pass is booked for 8:00 AM, you’re welcome to arrive whenever you like throughout the day.
  • Simply check in with Guest Services on your first visit, then feel free to come and go as you please for the rest of the day.

It’s all about easy-going luxury—a gentle flow from your cabin to the spa and back again, whenever the mood strikes.

Are the cabins accessible?

Each cabin has one to three exterior steps. There are no stairs inside the cabins. If you have questions about accessing our cabins, please send us a note.

How many guests are included in the nightly rate, and is there an extra charge for additional guests?

Our nightly rates include accommodation for up to five guests. Each cabin can sleep a maximum of six people, utlizing the day bed in the common area, making them perfect for families or small groups.

If you're planning to bring a sixth guest (over the age of five), please note that an additional nightly fee of $100 will apply. This fee covers the extra linens, towels, and amenities needed to ensure every guest enjoys the same level of comfort and care.

To help us prepare for your group’s arrival, we kindly ask that all guests—including the sixth—be confirmed at the time of booking.

Are day guests allowed?

Day guests up to a certain number are permitted. Upon arrival, day guests must register at reception.

Can I bring my dog or other pets?

As of December 2021, Wander no longer allows dogs or other pets on the property. During our initial months of operation, we came to understand that welcoming animals—while something we love in spirit—made it too challenging to uphold the high standards, safety, and core values we strive to maintain across the resort.

That said, we do make accommodations for registered service animals, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This includes:

  • Seeing eye dogs and
  • Vested, registered service animals with valid documentation

These service animals are permitted on site with advance notice and pending approval by management. This process ensures that we can provide a comfortable and safe environment for all guests, including those who may have allergies or sensitivities.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to create a relaxing, welcoming, and worry-free environment for everyone at Wander.

Can I cook in my cabin?

Yes! Every cabin at Wander features a fully equipped kitchen designed to make cooking as enjoyable and effortless as the rest of your stay.

Each kitchen includes full-sized Miele appliances, including:

  • A fridge and freezer
  • Oven and stovetop
  • Dishwasher
    (Please note: there is no microwave in the cabins.)

In addition to top-tier appliances, you’ll find all your favourite cooking essentials thoughtfully provided, including:

  • Pots, pans, baking sheets, and mixing bowls
  • A full set of utensils, sharp knives, and kitchen tools
  • Cutting boards, serving platters, wine glasses, and more
  • A kettle, toaster, and French press

We also stock your cabin with pantry basics to make your stay even easier, including:

  • Olive oil, salt, and pepper
  • Locally sourced tea and coffee
  • Raw sugar

Every cabin also includes a personal barbecue located on your private terrace, perfect for al fresco meals with a view.

Whether you're cooking a full dinner or just enjoying a relaxed morning coffee, we’ve set the stage for a seamless culinary experience.

Yes! As a guest of Wander, you’ll enjoy unlimited and exclusive access to our Sandbar Beach throughout your stay (seasonally, from late spring through early fall).

One of the most beloved features of Wander, the Sandbar Beach offers:

  • Luxurious king-sized daybeds reserved exclusively for resort guests
  • Swimmable waters, soft sand, floating docks and watersports
  • The perfect setting for sunbathing, reading, or simply relaxing by the lake

Our goal is to create a serene, soothing beach experience—so you can unwind in comfort, whenever the mood strikes.

The Sand Bar is also open seasonally, offering refreshing drinks and light fare just steps from the water. Sip on a craft cocktail, or iced coffee, and enjoy casual bites designed for lakeside lounging.

There’s no need to leave the beach to enjoy great food and drink—The Sand Bar brings the best of Wander’s hospitality right to the shoreline.

Is there a restaurant on site?

Yes! Our onsite restaurant, Gather, offers a full food and beverage experience curated especially for Wander guests. Nestled just steps from your cabin, Gather serves up seasonal, locally inspired menus in a relaxed yet refined setting.

Hours of Operation:

  • Breakfast: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Lunch: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Dinner: 5:00 PM – 7:45 PM (8:45 PM on Friday's and Saturday's) 
  • Sunday Brunch: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Bar Service: Available daily until 8:00 PM
