Before Your Visit - What to expect and Spa Etiquette


To help create the most relaxed and balanced experience for all guests, your Thermal Escape visit is reserved for a 4-hour time slot. During this time, you'll have full access to our Nordic Spa facilities as well as rest areas, Whisper Beach and The Sand Bar Beach. Please note that locker and access to Spa amenities, such as showers, are limited to your designated 4-hour window. After this time, we kindly ask that lockers be cleared to welcome incoming guests. All your appointment times - including your Thermal Escape window and any treatments booked - will be listed on your Wander Out card, provided at check-in. If lockers are not cleared after this time, we’ll kindly remove and securely store any remaining items. Please note that a locker reset fee of $125 will apply in this instance. Seasonally, you are welcome to remain onsite to enjoy our beach areas after your Thermal Escape access has ended.

To maintain a tranquil atmosphere and support all guests in their journey to disconnect and reconnect, we kindly ask all Spa visitors to follow our Guidelines for Spa Etiquette.

I bought a Pre-Sale Pass/Gift Card - how do I redeem it?

For guests who purchased a Pre-sale Pass or a Wander The Spa Gift Card, you will have received a 12 digit code when you purchased the Pass. If booking online, your credit card details will be collected, but no payment will be taken. Please enter the 12 digit code in the additional notes field when you book and we will apply it to your booking before your arrival. Additionally, you are welcome to email us for help making your booking with Pre-Sale passes or Gift Cards. Please include all guests names and phone numbers, your booking date (or preferred booking date if not yet booked online.) and your Pre-Sale Pass/Gift Card codes.  If you have any questions about your Pre-Sale Pass or Gift Card, please contact our team at thespa@wandertheresort.com.

For guests who wish to use a Wander The Resort Gift card please be sure to bring the QR code you will have received when you purchased your gift card and this will be applied when you arrive onsite. If booking online, please be sure to note this in the additional notes section or email us so that the card used when making the booking is not charged in advance.

What should I bring for my visit?

Photo identification, a valid credit card to load your wristband, waterproof footwear and a swimsuit are all required items for your visit. We also recommend that you bring toiletries, a non-glass water bottle, a second swimsuit if receiving treatments, and dining attire if dining at Gather after 5:00pm. Robes and towels will be supplied for you.

Does my cabin stay give me access to the spa?

No, spa access is not automatically included with your cabin reservation, unless you have booked a specific package that includes it. However, Cabin guests receive an exclusive cabin guest rate and access to enjoy the Spa without restriction, after arriving for your preferred appointment time enjoying our "Robe Ready Thermal Experience".  On the day of check-in, if planning on arriving early, be sure to book your Thermal Escape in advance to ensure access to a locker before your cabin is ready for check-in at 4pm. If you are planning on using the Spa after you have checked in; and have booked a Thermal Escape, our team can arrange to have your Robe Ready Spa Package in your cabin when you arrive, allowing you to get ready in your cabin prior to your appointment time and then you can enjoy unlimited access throughout the day. On check-out day, we also recommend booking your locker in advance, to ensure locker availability if you plan on using the Spa after the checkout time of 11am. A pass must be booked for each day of your stay.

Is there a minimum age to use the spa?

Guests must be 16 years or older to enjoy our spa facilities, unless otherwise stated for special events. Guest aged 16-17 will need to have a guardian sign the liability waiver as well.

How is my payment collected and do I have to sign a waiver?

When you book online, your credit card details are collected to hold the booking. Payment will be taken to the card used to make the booking seven days in advance of arrival unless you are paying with a Pre-Sale pass or Gift Card (please see above). Please note, if you are making the booking online for multiple guests, all passes will be charged to the card used when making the booking.

A waiver must be signed before entering the spa. It is highly recommended that all guests sign the Waiver before arriving onsite to help ensure a seamless check-in experience. If booking online you will be prompted to sign this waiver to confirm the booking. You will also be able to find a link to sign on your booking confirmation and on the reminder email/text you will receive three days before your appointment time. If you miss it for any reason, our team will text it to you the day of arrival.

Are cell phones permitted in the spa?

The Spa has been designed as a space for you to disconnect, be present and relax - as such, no phones, cameras or any recording devices are permitted in the Spa. The change rooms have lockers for you to securely store your phones while enjoying the Spa amenities.

Is there food and drink available to purchase?

Yes! Our on-site restaurant Gather will be open throughout your visit to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages. Reservations are highly recommended and if you are dining after 5:00 pm, dining attire is required. Email gather@wandertheresort.com for assistance in making a dining reservation or find us on Opentable. Gather is open daily from 9am to 8pm and 9pm on Friday's and Saturday's.

To make your experience at Wander The Spa as relaxing and effortless as possible, we offer cashless tap to pay wristbands that allow you to make purchases throughout the property—including retail items, and food & drink at Gather—with just a tap of your wristband.For guests dining at Gather, a minimum wristband load of $150 per person is required. This helps us ensure a smooth dining experience and allows you to enjoy your time without needing to carry your wallet or phone. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be made via email to thespa@wandertheresort.com. Cancellations made up to 48 hours ahead of the reservation are fully refundable to the original method of purchase. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours ahead of the reservation are refunded in the form of a digital gift card for the full amount of the original reservation. Modifications to a reservation or rebooking within 24 hours may incur a rebooking fee of $20. 

Do you accept Group Bookings?

To preserve the peaceful and restorative atmosphere our guests value, we kindly ask that groups be limited to a maximum of 6 people per time slot, bookable online. This updated policy comes after thoughtful review of guest feedback during our first four months of operations. By limiting group sizes, we aim to ensure a more serene and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for helping us maintain the calm, intimate environment that makes our spa so special.

Gather Group Booking Policies:
For Groups of 1-7 people: A’la Carte Menu available with reservation, guests may pay individually. For Groups of 8-13 people: A reduced A’la Carte Menu will be available with reservation, one bill, with an auto gratuity of 20%, will be presented at the end of the dining experience. The maximum amount of any one group will be 13 people.

Can I book a treatment without booking a Thermal Escape pass?


We're excited to share that our treatments are now available to book online for your convenience. To enjoy a treatment during your Thermal Escape, a Thermal Escape experience is required as part of your booking.To make the most of your visit, we recommend scheduling your treatment at least 30–45 minutes after your Thermal Escape check-in time to allow time for check-in and changing. Please be aware that lockers are only available during your Thermal Escape appointment time—if you book your treatment outside of that window, locker access will not be included.
